Alpha Electrics & Water (AWE) has a suite of policies and procedures in place which help us create a workplace that is safe and healthy as well as efficient and effective.   The below policies have been developed to provide all AWE employees and contractors with an understanding of our expected behavioral and performance standards.

Our On-Site services:

SKILLED TRADESMEN

Alpha Electrics and Water recognise the need to have appropriately skilled tradesmen working on your electric motors during shutdown time or breakdowns. We are able to place skilled electrical fitters, mechanical fitters and electricians on your site to remove, overhaul and refit your electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and fans. These tradesmen are supported by equipment such as a fully adjustable portable gantry crane up to 1 tonne, laser coupling and belt alignment equipment and the full facilities of our workshop should repair work be required. Statewide we have a fully equipped 2.5 tonne and 4.5 tonne truck, 6 x 1 tonne utes 2 x 1 tonne dual cab utes and 2 x 2 tonne trailers that are ready for all onsite work and after hours

MAIN WORKSHOP

The main workshop is located at our head office in Burnie. It is serviced with one 8 tonne and two 3 tonne overhead cranes and a 4 tonne forklift. We utilise a 10 tonne balancing machine with the capability of balancing rotating equipment up to 8m in length and 2.8m in diameter.
